What I'm doing now
For the last three years I’ve worked at e.GO, a German electric mobility startup. After I’ve learned a whole lot there, that chapter is now coming to a close. And something exciting is coming up in April.
Bringing FeatureCat to the world
I have a long list of side projects, but FeatureCat is the one I’m focussing fully on right now. After a bunch of prosumer iOS productivity apps, I’m excited to give the B2B SaaS thing a try. A heavier investment in marketing and sales makes a lot more sense for $20-$100 monthly subscription than in the $2 in-app purchase realm.
With a full-time job, a family, and other parts of life that are not yet again time spent in front of a laptop working, I was having a bit of a hard time actually shipping things in my side projects.
Since time is a constraint I cannot change, I was looking for different ways to make the most of the time I have. The current incarnation of that are Fortnighters (not related to Fortnite), which are two weeks of focus on a single topic/project. I’ve been running on that system since January 2022 and will report back soon.
Taking more photos
After years of living the Canon life, I just recently upgraded to a Fujifilm X-S10 and loving it. I hope I’ll get a chance to share some more photos on here.
