It’s been ~2 years since I joined Stripe as a Solution Architect in the DACH region, helping users get the most out of Stripe’s solutions and grow their business. It’s really fun, and I’m really excited about it.

Work in Public

I work on a lot of (side project) stuff, but nobody knows about it. I want that to change, so I’ve declared my 2024 theme to be “work in public”. Let’s see how that works out.

Bringing FeatureCat to the world

I have a long list of side projects, but FeatureCat is the one I’m focussing fully on right now. After a bunch of prosumer iOS productivity apps, I’m excited to give the B2B SaaS thing a try. A heavier investment in marketing and sales makes a lot more sense for $20-$100 monthly subscription than in the $2 in-app purchase realm.

Fortnighters

With a full-time job, a family, and other parts of life that are not yet again time spent in front of a laptop working, I was having a bit of a hard time actually shipping things in my side projects.

Since time is a constraint I cannot change, I was looking for different ways to make the most of the time I have. The current incarnation of that are Fortnighters (not related to Fortnite), which are two weeks of focus on a single topic/project. I’m trying to put a bit more emphasis on that system this year.

Taking more photos

After years of living the Canon life, I just recently upgraded to a Fujifilm X-S10 and loving it. I hope I’ll get a chance to share some more photos on here.
